Meetings

Post by Haviland »

Why?

I could do so much more if I didn't have to go to meetings.

other people need to justify their salaries, while some people work for them :D

how many of the other people in that room would have nothing to do if there wasnt all those meetings?

Just dont say anything that will completely discredit you and make everyone lose any respect that they ever had for you . . . like we had recently.

This woman has been tasked with fixing a certain system for the whole of the council. She has about 10 people working under her all trying to fix this one thing. So she was out at our place a few months ago asking questions about the network, etc and after she went away my manager and I both agreed she was a screaming f*ckwit!!
So anyways she goes to a meeting a few days later with technical representitives of all the departments of the council, and procedes to explain how we have 10 milligram connections to all our sites. When someone asked her to repeat herself she said the same thing again. At which point one of the bosses of the council piped up and asked "Are you on drugs?"

Idiot!

Needless to say we have no faith in that system ever working.
If at first you dont succeed, excessive force is probably the answer
