Scientology
It's a cult, no question about it. Watched the BBC report and I actually feel sorry for the presented who was harrased by the "men in black suits".
So much so that I think I'm going to download the South Park episode tonight

Check Wikipedia for the whole saga.
I only saw the last 10 minutes, including Sweeney losing it. Looking at what was shown, no wonder - Scientoligists are trained to do that sort of crap and take it. Bull-baiting, it's called, IIRC.
As for the BBC staging a demo, there have been demos outside Scientology "churches" for many years - that wasn't the first and it won't be the last.
However, "attack, attack, attack" is the mottto...
An online friend of mine was a Scientologist.
He hanged himself.
If he hadn't been afraid seek help, he might be alive today.

Anyone that swallows that crap is an idiot. IMHO its no different from any other type of religion though.
The fact that you can reconstruct all the "religions of the book's" beliefs from a combination of pagan gods/myths and Sumerian history and mythology appears lost on most. A bit like the fact that L Ron Hubbard once wrote that the best way to make money in America was to start your own religion.
'tards the lot of them.
Next they will be telling me the earth only has one moon.
What?
