Garlic

Remember years ago, that if someone ate garlic you'd be able to tell cos they'd smell of it. e.g. You had garlic bread and next day someone commented that you smell of garlic or 'the French smell of garlic' etc
Well, now that as a nation we are a bit more culinary aware and everyone cooks with garlic and garlic is in everything, noone smells of garlic anymore do they, cos we are used to it.
Apparently to people in S.E. Asia, westerners smell of sour milk. They do not eat much in the way of dairy products there cos it's so hot and most people can't afford fridges, so are not used to the smell of dairy....
That is all.
