For today marks the end of two weeks of home schooling and not allowing a six year old to leave the house.

Highlights of this time include:

It being suspiciously quiet, so i went upstairs to discover Noah saying he was fine actually meant he was trapped behind a set of drawers pinned by the hip dangling with his feet about a foot and a half off the ground.
Finding him on top of his wardrobe.
Catching him jumping between his drawers and bed in his bedroom, its about six foot wide.
Walking downstairs and finding him wedged in the doorframe at the top between the living room and kitchen, declaring his climbing to be brilliant.

Taking him to parkour was a mistake.

Bah.

If they are into parkour'y things and your still in and around Glasgow, you should consider checking out if they have any childrens sessions at TCA (the Climbing Academy) and the tampoline place next door to it. They are in the old wharehouses just a few streets up from Springfield Quay.

Great for tiring out little monsters.

(Obviously when people eventually become free to enjoy life again)

Moved from the west end to bearsden for the schools.

A middle-class; middle-aged prison of my own making.

Noah has a sunday class at Movement Park in scotstoun, its a warehouse area so the have loads of space outside as well as inside.

Although that will be on maybe february. I am sad.

Oh so you are one of the Bearsden crowd now, I never thought I would see the day !
Presumably a lot nicer for the family though.

I am still coming to terms with having traded the South Side of Glasgow for the North East of Scotland, and its been the best part of 7 years now.

But things are modernising up here.
I knew it was hapening when we got the first banarama album on 8-track and the Whimpy shut down.

Was going to ask if you were still up in that neck of the woods. Glad to hear its sophistomicated.

I remember when I first went to go visit Roisin home in northern ireland and they still didn't have bus stops.
