It appears that a project that happened near me has moved to the final stage, Punishment of the Innocent.

Selling into customers, there's quite a clear split between those that Get Things Done and those that, well, Don't Get Things Done...

17 months ago, my Infrastructure team consisted of four really good techies, two contract PM's and a 3 years worth of work to complete by the end of March.

We had a couple of resignations, including my boss, whose replacement has triggered more resignations, the Chief Exec decided we didn't need our contract PM's anymore and as of tomorrow, I will have one network contractor who's been with us for a week with, unsurprisingly, grief from my new boss that things are taking too long to do.

He's managed to break his leg, on the phone to him yesterday I told him I was off today to wait for our replacement washing machine.

"Oh, you'll get peace and quiet at home, you'll be able to catch up on this, that..."

Soon, perhaps very soon, my inner voices are going to come out, loudly and forcefully.

Not quite, but the outlet hose is about a meter too short... FML, as they say.

Can't get one locally, so Amazon to the rescue.
