My tendonitis is bloody agony. I think I'll need my thumb amputated.

Trying to work without a mouse and using a tablet instead. So many years of muscle memory get in the way, so I've had to disconnect my mouse and hide it.

I've brought my cheapo tablet in from the house to work. My nice new work tablet is on the way.

I took out my ankle at the weekend - nothing broken but only really walking again now. And this is my week off

A whole week? Only time I get a week off is when I'm in hospital.

Eh? I'd already booked a week off, do you take your 7 weeks leave 1 day a week for the whole year or summat

Partially, yes - we have our leave aggregated with public holidays as we don't shut up shop at Christmas and the like.

Between my depression and near-death experiences, I've been absent for about 4 1/2 months since Dec and used about 7 days of leave. Up until then, I averaged about 1 day sick a year over nearly 30 years, but I've blown a bloody big hole in those maths.

Swine Flu?

Lot of it about in the west.

just some sort of infection.

although my uncle in edinburgh (well west calder) has swine flu.

Just slept for another 4 hours there. feel odd.
