The Guild of Mute Assasins

Driving back from Sirling this afternoon on the M-way, I see a big chunk of temporary fence by the hard shoulder, backing on to a BFO field.

The thing is strewn with the flowers and things that people do.

How the fuck did they get there? Either people walked a mile through a sodden field (which I doubt), or they stopped thheir cars on the motoryway, got out, tied their flowers on and went on their way. WTF are they thinking?

Probably put there when someone or someones died in a car accident.

Well, duh

But did they walk a mile through the fields, or stop on the hard shoulder...

Or stop on the hard shoulder, get hit by a speeding freight lorry carrying say 10 tons of pig iron, go flying through the air, legs and arms akimbo, neck slightly off at an odd angle and land 20 yards away in a pile of mushed bones and viscera in the middle of the field?

You really shouldn't think about these things to much it can warp you...
