Well I'm working from home. Was remotely accessing my machine in work and was speaking to my boss through live messenger at the same time. Got kicked off my machine in work, sent a message to my boss saying 'For fuck sake I just got kicked off my machine and it wont let me back in again' and it came up 'Iain is now Offline'
'Strange' I thought.
Gave it 5 mins, tried again.
Fuck all.
'Hmm' I thought.
Tried to call my boss, got a beeping noise in my ear.
'Oh shit' I thought
Called his mobile, no answer.
Got a call back a few minutes later telling me that some guys were outside putting in a handrail and they have dug up the main power cable for the building. Whats more the guys in work didnt managed to get all the servers shut down properly before the UPS's gave up the ghost. Not looking forward to going back on wednesday . . . .

Well I'm in work with one of my colleagues, and we have found that the main water pipe in the basement is ducked where it goes to the outside world. Thankfully at the moment it seems its still frozen outside underground somewhere, so I'm not up to my knees in water yet. As soon as that pipe thaws though I'm going to have to run in to the server room and switch off all servers and UPS's quick smart.

If I dont make it in time you'll hear the explosion from there boab . . . . in fact, hav and corm, you'll probably hear it there too . . . .
