Well this is fun.

I am about as tired as Andrew Neil.

Really could go either way. I can see Trump winning, I work with loads of Americans and many of them are so sick of politicians they will vote for anyone else. Quite a mix of rona-believers and doubters out there too.
They got things like the atom bamb... so I'm gonna stay where I... AM!

My ability to predict this crap mess is astoundingly accurate.

Still regret not putting 100 quid on Brexit and trump doubler.

I have got every us political eventish (uk and usa anyway)with almost complete accuracy since David Cameron first got in. its a skill which made me dump politics after finishing my degree. actually before it but i coasted till the end.

Biden will win, just. Then the real mess will start, but i reckon realistically the supreme court will side with sense and the secret service will escort trump out the white house. Then he will grift maga folk till he is executed secretly by folk he owes money too.

I totally get the trump thing but only in the George Carlin sense. "Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that."

Ah, such fun.

I was going to take the day off and start drinking as the results started to come in - last time I'd just about finished the bottle of JD by the time the Cheeto Fuhrer was confirmed. My boss said that was a good idea and them promptly scheduled two meetings for Wednesday am, so I had an early night and got up at 5am.

Just as well I didn't really, don't think my liver could take such a hammering as here we are on Thursday night and still nail-biting stuff, with the single state Biden needs unlikely to be called until about 2am Friday. Ah well, such is politics - I remember 2020 and the daily updates on how low a chad could go before it was counted :-)

I had hoped that they would reject the lunacy of the last few years, but apparently not...
